How to Prepare for Your Test

Preparing for Your Diagnostic Test

Proper preparation is key to ensuring the accuracy of your test results. Preparation instructions vary depending on the type of scan you are scheduled for. Please click on your test type below for detailed guidelines. If you are unsure about any instructions, please do not hesitate to call us.

  • Abdominal Ultrasound: Please do not eat or drink anything (fasting) for at least 6-8 hours before your appointment.
  • Pelvic / KUB Ultrasound: You need a full bladder for this scan. Please drink 4-5 glasses of water about one hour before your appointment and do not urinate.
  • Other Ultrasounds: Most other ultrasound scans (like thyroid, breast, or doppler studies) do not require any special preparation.
  • General Instructions: Please wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing any jewelry or metal objects.
  • Fasting: For most abdominal and pelvic CT scans, you will be required to fast for 4-6 hours.
  • Contrast Media: If your scan requires a contrast dye, our team will give you specific instructions. Please inform us if you have any allergies or kidney problems.
  • No Fasting Required: You can typically eat, drink, and take your regular medications before an MRI.
  • Metal & Implants: This is very important. Please inform our staff when booking if you have a pacemaker, cochlear implant, or any other metal implants in your body. You will be asked to remove all metal items before entering the MRI room.
  • No Preparation: Most X-rays do not require any special preparation.
  • Pregnancy: Please inform our staff if you are, or think you might be, pregnant.

We strive to deliver your reports as quickly as possible. The exact time will be communicated to you after your test is completed.

You can collect your physical reports and films from our reception desk during working hours. Please bring your payment receipt for verification.

We also provide secure online access to your reports. You will receive login details to view and download your reports from the comfort of your home.

Insurance & Payment Information

Payment and Insurance

We aim to make the payment process as smooth as possible.

  • Modes of Payment: We accept payments via cash, all major credit and debit cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.), and net banking.
  • Insurance & TPA: We are in the process of empaneling with major insurance providers and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs). Please call our front desk to inquire about the latest list of our partners and the cashless facility procedure.
